Message It's held on by these little square (I think blue) plastic push in clips. You can access the back of the clips where they push thru the decklid by pulling the interior plastic trim panel on the deck lid. I was able to acess the back of the clips with a 90-degree needle nose plier - take a look, you'll see what I mean. There is a portion that you have push on to pop it off the deck lid. This process will enable you to remove the entire rear plastic assembly from the deck lid. I wouldn't recommend trying to remove the lens from the entire assembly - as the plastic ages it becomes brittle; mine cracked in 1/2 at the right end. I ended up replacing the entire unit w/a new Nissan one. Check price at Courtesy/Vince. It's over $ 100 but it may not be as bad as the previous post indicated.
